As a child, I taught myself to play the piano and read music, and went on to study piano for over 12 years. As a result, I have always had very good keyboarding skills. While in college I worked doing data entry. At that time, data entry standards were an average of 20,000 keystrokes per hour (kph), and I was typing at a rate of 70,000-80,000 kph. When I moved to another city and went to an employment agency, they told me that I couldn’t tell potential employers what my speed was because they would think I was making it up! Throughout my life, my typing speed has been a great benefit to me as I have worked in the computer and publishing industries. I have always been very interested in the health and medical fields, and being an avid reader, my bookshelves are lined with books on these topics.

Since at this point in my life I need to retrain for a new career, based on my interests and existing skills, medical transcription jobs seem to fit me perfectly. With my keyboard speed, editing skills, love of the computer, and medical interests, I am sure that I will love medical transcription. With the growth predications for this field, I expect that it will provide a dependable career with many opportunities, even in this lagging economy. The advantages of a career in medical transcription that I am going to enjoy most are flexibility and the potential to do medical transcription at home. I love working in my home office at my own computer, being able to dress comfortably and go barefoot if I want, being able to take a break to exercise, and to cook and eat my meals at home. Plus there is the added benefit of earning more as I get faster at transcription. SN:0MA9N2ESY

I am also really excited about the prospect of seeing my earnings climb as my speed builds. I am looking forward to learning medical transcription from FutureMT because they offer the best overall medical transcription training that I have found, and with the guarantees they offer, there is little to risk to enrolling in their course. I really appreciate having so much information available on the website to inform and educate the potential student about the course. I recommend that anyone who is considering a medical transcription course should thoroughly explore the FutureMT website, especially the FAQ pages. It is so easy to navigate and informative. Based on this information, the software-driven training system appears to be leading-edge technology. Having the text embedded is very convenient, and the games and dictation challenges will keep it interesting and fun. Being able to see sample pages from the software, and read about how it works has really made me eager to get started, because I can see how easy the course will be to follow. Compared to other courses I have investigated, this comprehensive course is more affordably priced, and has better financing options, and even the opportunity to win a scholarship.

Jobs in Medical Transcription From Home Still Cream of the Crop

Jobs in medical transcription from home still the cream of the crop? You bet! The industry keeps on booming and with its ever-expanding arena of opportunity comes unmatched flexibility, luxurious extras, and fantastic income potential! The MT (medical transcription) companies and the MTs alike have discovered the pros far outweigh the cons by allowing this unique profession to be performed in the home of the MT! The overhead costs of in-house transcriptionists is greatly reduced, not to mention the number of absences due to family issues, illness, and any number of other reasons people find to skip work, if nothing more than to just rest and take a break from the humdrum of the daily grind in an office or in the field working! The MTs have also found their productivity can greatly increase if by nothing more than the time it takes to get dressed, perhaps drop children off at school or daycare, drive to work, and then drive back home at the end of the day. This can take several hours away from time you could be sitting at home and generating income, not to mention being relaxed and much more at ease just by being close-by for family. Two or three hours of production for an MT can mean big dollars! So, imagine what your income could be if you had the liberty of sitting down and transcribing several documents spread conveniently over a day’s time! Sounds great and it is! MTs can easily support families with just their income and high production or supplement the main source of income to quite possibly and very often a matching figure!

Positions for MTs are still in abundance as the medical transcription industry continues to drive forward and thrive. Wishing you could be an MT does not have to be a wish; it can be a reality! You simply have to have the get-up-and-go to make the first step toward your goal and the obvious is obtaining a good foundation through inexpensive but thorough courses in the field of medical transcription. Learning to become an MT requires a serious attitude and a genuine desire to excel and succeed in this very special profession. Once fully trained, you will join the new and exciting world inhabited with dedicated, interesting, caring MTs, all whom welcome newcomers with open arms and a willingness to lend a hand! The only prerequisite would be that you cared enough to make sure you got the most out of your course, learned it well, and then apply your skills and contribute back with a glad and willingness to help attitude as well. This will come naturally for you though, as there is an unspoken and understood bond among the MTs around the globe! MTs truly are dedicated to the world of medicine, the integral part they play, and the gratitude they receive from employers and the physicians they serve, thus spurring on an even greater desire to excel and produce quality work. And with this comes the highly-acclaimed and remarkable income!

The successful MT finds their work not only interesting but actually exhilarating! What other profession can you think of that you can do at home and actually call exhilarating? Not many! Yes, you can begin right now, at any age or station in life, and work as an MT your whole career and even way past the age of retirement. In fact, you will probably find it difficult to stop! You’ll like it just that much, not to mention the producing the generous income will be hard to give up as well!

Start now! You absolutely can learn it! Choose a course sold through a company that does not want to take all your money and run. Future MT is one of the places we recommend visiting for more information because the Future MT scam report (SN:0MA9NVNTY) shows them as a reputable company. Training can be found at more than reasonable rates. Also, the company selling and teaching the course for a reasonable cost will usually be the company that offers more for your dollar, such as live support from seasoned MTs, technical assistance, and support with any course-related issues you have and all included in the cost of the course. These attributes can give you the best advantages and help you move closer to your educational goal. While not the easiest course, well-structured courses and great mentoring can see you through the rough spots to help ensure you understand it completely. You can, indeed, learn. Not only can you attain the MT status for a reasonable price, you can do so in a relatively short and reasonable timeframe. Choose a self-paced course that allows you to learn at your own personal rate of speed. Speed can sometimes make you miss some of the scenery, so it is with education; if you go too fast, you miss some of the important essentials for a good foundation. Do not “shoot yourself in the foot” by rushing just to obtain the certificate. EARN that certificate with knowledge so that you can apply it and earn the reward of higher-than-average wages for your superior performance.

You will soon discover this is the wisest decision you will ever make! Take charge of your future with a new future on the horizon! It is relatively easy with good training, remarkably inexpensive through the right company, and stunningly faster than you would think! To learn more about the profession and how you can get started as soon as today, visit http://www.futuremt.com.

The major reason for wanting to train in Medical Transcription it will allow me to work from home. I recently had a very bad bout with an illness and it prevented me from working. But with my illness which is psoriasis it became very difficult for me to wear clothing or be out in the cold. I am a night person and it would be good for me because I can work at night since I don’t sleep much. Hopefully with working I will be able to relax more and not worry about bills and know that my work will be done because I won’t miss any time off for illness. You see I am by profession a Stylist and Barber. Aside from that it is not good to work with people in the beauty industry when they see how your skin gets, although, they really were nice. But I know it made them uncomfortable.

I tried for awhile but I found it hard to ignore. I am now living with my daughter and she has helped me more than anyone and now she is feeling the crunch and I need to really start helping her and this would be my only way, you see I also help her with my granddaughter because she is a diabetic and my daughter works over an hour away. I am able to pick her up and be home with her if she needs anything. I also take her to her games and other things she needs to do. I am as they say the emergency person. She should be getting her license in about 3 years. By then with my training I will be able to do more for my family. I already have the computer training because I took a course at Ridley Lowell in Poughkeepsie, NY, on all the Microsoft software and can type about 60 words a minute. Still have that and use the computer all the time that’s how I found you. SN:0MA9N2ESY

I feel at some point we will be able to move to a warmer climate then I can possibly work in a Hospital or other facility. I had my own business for almost 14 years and did very well, so I could start a business and possibly help other seniors who need to supplement their income. Which I am aware is becoming more and more the normal I know some that would jump at a chance to work at something if someone would show them. On a more personnel note I have had to give up my home and have taken financial loss, due to this economy and my trust was taken advantage of with some property that I should have received funds to continue and start my own business again. I went through a divorce and had to try to start over, it was too much and then I got sick. My physician feels that being able to work at my own pace such as medical transcription at home or any other online typing job, it would not bring on my illness again which is now in remission. But they say you never get more than you can handle.

I leave work every morning and kiss my little girl good-bye. She always asks “when will you be home mom?” I always tell her “right after work baby” and write down the time so she can look at the clock to check. Many of times she asks “mom can you stay home today?” She is four and half years old. She is the highlight of my life. I am excited to see her when she wakes up in the morning and I am excited to see her right after work. There are times that I cannot concentrate at work because I am thinking “what is Kaylee doing now?” How wonderful would that be to see her all day long? She is going to pre-school now so it wouldn’t be as often but still more than I see her now and that is all that matters. That is why I want to be a medical transcriptionist.

To me being a medical transcriptionist would be as if I were given a golden key to a wonderful life spent with my little girl and my husband. Kaylee wants a brother or sister and my husband and I want another baby also but with working full time away from home I just don’t see that happening. But I do see that happening if I can do medical transcription at home. I have researched many schools and programs that offer medical transcription training and certification and Future MT is the only online medical transcription school that I have found that offers a money back guarantee. I was also impressed with the amount of full and partial scholarships that are given out monthly. It is so hard making ends meet as it is for a lot people today that the benefit of receiving a full scholarship for education that will lead to a great life spent with your family is awesome in my eyes. It is as if Future MT’s goal is to set you down the path to succeed at a better way of life. The fact that if you do not find a job after 60 days from completing your course that you are granted a year’s access to Future MT’s employment services is really impressive. SN:0MA9N2ESY

I received my Bachelors in Business Science Business Information Systems and I feel I have not benefited from this degree. I am still paying on my school loans totaling about $16,000 right now. I cannot afford to go back to school now without financial aid. I applied numerous times for IT positions but every time they state I do not have enough work experience. If they would have offered the employment services or guarantee that you offer then maybe I wouldn’t feel that it was such a loss taking that path. I regret not going into another field of study. Right now I’m a secretary with a Bachelors Degree, paying off a loan to a field of education that I am not working in nor do I see myself ever working in. I wish I would have gone into medical transcription from the start. I think if I started down that path I would probably have my own medical transcription business by now and have the freedom to work from home and make my own schedule.
