The main theme behind Facebook is networking. You can connect with friends, both old and new and build different networks of friends based on the things you have in common with them.
Apart from using Facebook to join with contacts, which is what loads of individuals use it for, you can additionally use it to create groups of friends, or to join groups that are built around your love of network marketing and MLM and a collective desire for success.
Facebook is an easy online program that allows people to create profiles and give friends an idea of your interests. Facebook also allows you to follow your friends through a “news feed” feature that allows you to keep up with your friends when the update their status or adds a link to their profile. This allows you to keep up with what your friends are up to and it alerts them to what you’re doing.
To network on Facebook with other network marketers and MLM professionals your best bet is to connect with like-minded people through Facebook groups. You can find multiple groups relating to MLM and Network Marketing that you can join and participate in. Others are able to get to know you and you are able to get to know other MLM marketers.
Interaction as the main reason behind joining groups on Facebook. You can learn from them and they can learn from you. A lot of good-natured idea and information sharing goes on, which leads to every participant having more resources for success. But you need to go beyond the groups in order to really benefit from Facebook networking.
I recommend trying to make friends with certain members of the group. You can do this by going through group list and inviting individual group members to be your Facebook friends. The easiest way is to simply go down the list and invite each person to be your friend. You can choose to send them a message along with your request, which is helpful if they don’t already know you. One word of caution – Facebook may accuse you of spamming and cancel your membership if you send out the exact same message to each person!
When you grow a long enough list of friends, it may be wise to separate them into separate lists in order to track them. You might want to create a family list, for example, where you would keep your family. Other ideas would include a college list, a high school friends list, or other types you may need, and of course a Network Marketing list. Then you will be able to have your link seen by hundreds of people when you post it every couple days.
The beauty of it is that you have the prospect of gaining new friends each time you add a friend to your list – they all have friends that you might like to connect with as well! As you can see, networking through Facebook is easy to do, and it has the potential for growing your list of connections and MLM network marketing lead list by leaps and bounds!
