I really enjoy working in the medical field. I have only worked a little over a year with a small town hospital. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I worked in registration and have learned a few things when it comes to diagnoses and understanding medical terms. I want to become a work from home medical transcriptionist because I am tired of working long days and coming home exhausted. I want to spend more time with my family and be home more often. Just this year my husband and son both had a different surgery, it was very hard to work and be home for them with their recovery. If I were to work from home, I could reassure myself that they were being taken care of and maybe only have someone to help temporarily. I also would like to spend less time driving to and from work. I’ve been going to school online to get my bachelor’s degree and I would like to work online, also. It’s very convenient and simple for me.
My niece is a physician assistant at a local clinic. She is the one who explained to me what medical transcription is all about. She has helped me find all the information about schooling and jobs that I need to know, now it’s up to me to get started. That’s why I am writing this essay today, because she has influenced me to better my life with school and now with a better paying job. As I’ve explained earlier, being at home will have its advantages for me. I go to school online and I would like to find a job that will help me work online, also. Working from home will allow me to spend more time with my two year old son. I will have time to work while he attends preschool next year, and be home when he’s coming home. You realize quickly what is most important to you. Online medical transcriptionist jobs will allow better pay without the drive to work. This saves money on gas, wear and tear on our vehicle, and since my husband is disabled, it allows more money to raise my family. I feel like training with Future MT will allow me to get all of the medical terms and knowledge I need to become a good transcriptionist. It allows me however much time I need to finish the course, and since the estimated time to finish is shorter than most other schools, it will be more convenient. Also, the cost seems like a descent amount, even though I don’t really have the money to attend, it is less than what most other schools offer the course for. In the future, I would like to become a psychologist. I am in the first year of my education to obtain my bachelor’s degree in psychology and eventually my masters. Working in the medical field will allow me the knowledge I need to learn about symptoms, diagnoses, and other medical terms. Since my master’s degree is about 8 years away, I would like to obtain an MT education and work in an MT business until my school is done. It seems like a good paying job and very convenient.
