All network marketing business opportunities provide a certain amount of training to their new representatives, but is it enough? It would be smart for the company to provide amazing training to the new reps, but they just don’t seem to do that. The training that is provided by FHTM is the same stuff you will get from most companies.. inadequate. If you are reading this, you should be sure to read my FHTM review.
Outdated
FHTM along with a lot of other MLM companies are using network marketing concepts that are over 50 years old. These NEW companies are using the same training that was available in some of the first network marketing companies. This stuff still works, and you can certainly build a business using these old concepts, but it won’t happen as fast as you could using new training.
Old vs. New
At the time of this writing it’s 2010… don’t you think there is a better way to do business then they had in 1960? You will find that a lot of old timers in MLM will scoff at this article because they know how they built a business, and it’s not the same. They would encourage you to talk to your friends, family, and neighbors to run your business. They would encourage you to speak with every human being within earshot of you. Why would you do that? What’s your plan once you’ve talked to everyone in your family? Bother them again? Now we have the internet, and at the click of a button you can connect with MILLIONS of other people around the WORLD! Can you imagine being able to reach millions of people around the world? What would that do to your circle of influence?
The New Way to Build a Business
The internet allows you to do things that you could never do in network marketing 10 years ago. Now you can easily jump on Facebook and connect with a ton of people that you do, or don’t know personally. Imagine being able to type “MLM” into the search on Facebook and find hundreds of thousands of people who are looking for a business opportunity. Doesn’t that seem like a much easier way to do business? For the sake of this article I am over-simplifying things, but this is just one way to reach millions of people on the internet.
Can it be Done?
Since FHTM and most network marketing companies don’t provide it’s reps with internet marketing training, it’s something you will either have to learn on your own, or connect with a good mentor to learn about. If you just get on Facebook and start spamming your business opportunity, you will get ignored by the masses. There is a certain way to go about attracting people to you rather than hunting prospects down, and you need to have someone show you how, or you can spend a few years learning. I will tell you now that it is not the easiest thing, and you will need some serious guidance.
