Most people think this is too much of a challenge and that it takes years to become a guru, but I am here to tell you it can happen quickly. By following the five simple steps below, you will be on your way to expert status!!
- Preach ONLY what you practice! Most of the people on the Internet, for instance, write about things they have only read, and they can tell you only about what others have done. The question is, are they doing it themselves? If you are telling others how to properly follow up with prospects, are you following up successfully as well? If you are, it will show in how successful you are in your business and people will respond! If you aren’t, they will absolutely sense it, especially if they decide to follow your pieces of advice a little more closely. This is not the way to earn respect become a network marketing expert!
- Educate and Apply! Learn all you can about your company, the products, how to successfully get prospects, and the many other ways to earn money in your MLM business. Becoming a good student and then focusing on applying what you have learned is your ticket, not only to becoming a network marketing expert, but to exploding your business! The key is applying your new knowledge and not focusing all of your time researching and learning. Get out there and experience it!
- Focus a laser beam of attention on a few marketing strategies rather than trying to do too much at once! This way you master the skills necessary to become successful and you will actually become an expert in what does and does not work in certain strategy.. It is sometimes better to know a lot about a few things than a little about a lot of things! For example, if you focus on holding in-home presentations and you do this on a consistent basis. You will become successful because you will eventually come across what does work and then you will be a network marketing expert, who specializes in in-home presentations!
- Accomplish something great! I don’t mean that you have to go out and earn a million dollars for you to be looked at as an expert, but you need to truthfully have accomplished a few things in your business to be respected as an expert! At the same time you should be able to relate to others so that they know they too can get there! This should give you the motivation to get out there and make it happen! For instance, I was able to participate in a company wide contest and I completely threw myself into it and came out winning fifth place in the company! It took extremely long hours and hard work to get there but it is an accomplishment that no one can ever take away from me and others will respect me for, helping me become a network marketing expert! On the other hand, I make sure that people know that the first couple of years in this industry, I struggled and that if I could make it so could anyone! Being able to relate to others will help inspire others and eventually help them grow their own MLM business.
- Learn how to communicate your knowledge to others! This is hard if you have never done this before and will take a little bit of practice! Some key advice here: Never sell your knowledge, always come from a giving perspective- just wanting to help others. When you help others become successful, you become the “go to” person, which directly translates to network marketing expert!!

They know everything there is to know about the ways to make more money in your MLM business because they have used the same techniques successfully. In addition, always have a few great accomplishments and can relate well to others through great communication skills they have acquired! Finally, many of these MLM gurus grew to expert status in a very short amount of time because they applied the principles above and NEVER gave up!
