I am interested in taking an online medical transcriptionist course mainly because I’m looking for work from home jobs but there are a few important reasons that I want to work from home. The main one is my precious perfect 11 month old daughter Andrea. I don’t want to miss out on important things in her life because I am stuck in an office somewhere. When my husband and I had her we decided that I would stay home with her but my husband works on commission as an engine machinist and because of the economy and the weather his work has been very slow and it is looking like I am going to have to find work and I think this would be everything that I want. The second reason I want to take this program and stay home to work is because I have two wonderful dogs (11 yr old black lab, 1 1/2 yr old great dame) and they do not like to be left alone. They are very well behaved dogs as long as someone is home with them. You leave them alone for more than a few hours and you come home to a destroyed house. My great dame Crystal is my daughter’s best friend so getting rid of them is not an option.
I always thought I would enjoy working somewhere in the Medical field but I knew I couldn’t be a nurse or a doctor and I think this is a valued profession in the Medical community. It is a very important and helpful career. I feel MT’s allow the doctors and nurses more valued time with the patients and that is a very important thing. My sister passed away from a metabolic disease when she was 7 and the connection she had with her doctors was amazing. They were able to spend special time with her and make her doctor visits as enjoyable as they could be because they weren’t always rushed. I feel MT’s help out with that a little and that is pretty special. SN:0MA9N2ESY
The problem is because of finances I cannot afford to take this course unless I receive some type of assistance in paying for it. I have been looking and I have not having any luck in finding a school that will allow me to take the course and pay the tuition once I finish and start working or that would let me start the course and start paying for it in a few months once my husband’s work picks up. I would be extremely appreciative if you would award me this scholarship. It would be the answer to my prayers. I have been wanting to go back to school for a while and I didn’t know what I wanted to do and now that I know what I want to do I can’t afford it. I want to be able to give my daughter all of the things that my family couldn’t give me when I was growing up and I think taking this course and working from home would give me the extra time and financial security that I knew were missing in my home growing up.
