Working from home has more aspects you need to consider than you may realise.
The business side has certain fundamentals you need to figure out yes, but there are a few more facets you need to also consider to be happy while working from home or earning extra income from home.
Solitude. Setting up a business and working from home can be quite a lonely process and involve more solitude than you realize. People naturally love interaction with other people. If you make the decision to go from an office filled with people and co-workers to working in solitude from home, it maybe quite a shock, but you may not even realise this is what is getting you down.
You wont be getting up, dressed, making lunch or buying lunch, or commuting to work. You will get up, get dressed (or not, depending on how you operate best), having breakfast, then walking to your office or couch space to start your day. It can be lonely and at times hard to feel motivated. You will need to have organization, good time management and things in place to keep the momentum and concentration happening.
Scheduling a break, be it coffee with a friend, a few hours with the children or a work trip somewhere will give you that interaction and a refreshing break to keep going in your home business ideas. Layout your day each morning and work from there. Block everything into chunks and set your mind into productive to get it all done. Then you have some freedom to have interaction with other people and have all your days goals done, maybe even before lunchtime.
Or you can plan a week ahead, schedule goals and details and break it down into real time to manage and make plenty of time for breaks and include some trips away from the desk, out of the house and a meal or a walk with a friend or whatever you love to do.
It may sound insignificant, but it could end up being a make or break for your mental happiness, which can be directly linked to your volume of success.
Keeping it REAL and asking very real and valid questions will change your business ventures from ideas and startups to real successful home businesses.
