We’ve got this amazing industry here called MLM, yet many negative comments can be heard of Network Marketing business. Now, what is the reason behind all of those rumours?The reason behind this is very obvious; the failure of more than 90 percent of Networkers. Some say it’s a scam, it’s a pyramid; others say that failing is their company’s fault or it happens because of the products of the MLM Company. Well, there are important factors like knowing how to choose a good Network Marketing company with good products, there is no doubt about that. Other elements are more important when it comes to succeeding in this business, though.
Let me share with you some facts first of all:
Most people fail in this business because they run out of friends and family. Laser qualififed people generally called MLM leads, home busines leads. Consequently most of them fail because of the lack of MLM leads.
Most of the qualified prospects they ever talk to won’t join their company, simple as that.
So they would need to talk to so many targeted prospect because of the law of big numbers, the more they talk to the better. John did not attend… so it made Mr. Distributor wondering why. Mr. Rohn advised his audience to not think of this a lot, it won’t change anyway. Some things will stay the same even if you try to cahnge them. He also brought up some funny examples to illustrate this: how come sun doesn’t last longer…etc… you can’t change that, right? The above mentioned fact is just one of those things.
An other secret that is unknown by most people in MLM: 10 percent of their promoting activities makes the 90 percent of their results. So they should be testing and keep on testing – trying to find the 10 percent of the marketing methods that really works – and from then on, time and money should only be spent on those techniques that really work.
Also, unsuccessful Networkers don’t use a MLM system to market ; I think successful people in MLM always use some kind of a Network Marketing system.
What do I want to really say?
What I am saying is even if current Networkers did have targeted MLM leads they still would need to talk to many of them to make one join because of the facts above. Let’s assume they have lots of leads to talk to but then they usually don’t know how to find the 10 percent of real money making marketing to spend their time and money on – this is a real important factor because most people in MLM started doing this business part time therefore it really matters where you spend your time at.
What do we learn?
The most important criterion in order to succeed in MLM is being able to generate leads every day. In case you don’t generate home business leads then you can not be successful in Network Marketing.
